What does Mutiny do?Mutiny monitors network traffic, hardware (switches, servers, routers, etc), as well as the processes and applications that are be running (ie. Exchange, IIS, SQL etc). It predicts when failure is likely to occur and alerts any number of people via email, text, pager, or helpdesk when problems are likely to occur. Ensuring that the company network and its services provide even a small increase in reliability can have a dramatic effect on overall company profitability. Mutiny is able to identify weaknesses in the network through the constant monitoring of its hardware components and applications. It will issue alerts when a fault is detected, enabling the root cause of the problem to be rapidly identified. Typically, it is the identification process that accounts for over 70% of the time taken to perform any remedial action. Throughout the monitoring process, Mutiny captures and stores data for representation in graphical form.
