Curtains close on another successful IP EXPO Europe for Mutiny

With IP EXPO Europe done and dusted for another year, we can look back on what was a busy but productive few days for Mutiny.

IPExpo 2015 Stand. The Mutiny stand, which was located within the Cloud and Infrastructure Europe event, had a steady stream of enquiries throughout the two-day conference at London’s ExCeL. Visitors were from a host of industry sectors with different sets of objectives. We were able to demonstrate the Mutiny network monitoring tool to hands-on network administrators and to those with overall responsibility for ICT performance and spend.

We took the opportunity to launch our new IP-Address Management (IPAM) module available on the latest release of Mutiny. One of a number of add-on options, the IP Address Management module allows provision and monitoring of IP assets and access to historical usage data within the framework of the easy-to-use Mutiny interface.

Other modules to add to core Mutiny include:

  • Quick Reports which allows quick comparison of properties by selecting them from views and nodes.
  • V5 SLA Reporter which uses an additional appliance and creates SLA reports against user-defined time periods and capacity reports for nodes or groups of nodes. These reports can be scheduled and delivered as PDFs to customer in-boxes.
  • NetFlow Reporter supports Cisco NetFlow v5 to analyse the flows and store them for reporting within the Mutiny system interface. Maintaining Mutiny's ease of use USP, users can quickly analyse top talkers or protocols from the NetFlow screen.
  • Dashboard displays a choice of dials, gauges and tables all on one screen. Widgets can be added to build custom dashboards.
  • Restorepoint adds the ability to automate backup configurations of networking equipment and alert on breaks in compliance.
  • Ping Free allows the addition of an unlimited number of ping-only devices which may also free up node licences and allow the addition of fully monitored nodes.
  • Pool Licence enhances the user portal to allow end-users to breakdown their licence into smaller sub-licences and spread them across multiple systems. This is useful for managed service providers who want to distribute mutiny systems to their end users and maximise their licence investment.

As a company, we enjoy events like these because they are a great opportunity to demonstrate our latest developments and to meet up with current and prospective clients.

Thanks to all of you who came along. We look forward to seeing you again this time next year.
